Sayings of the Messanger of Allah (pbuh)

"The worst of all people is the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others, with another face."

1.         PENALTY FOR WEARING PERFUME AMONGST PUBLIC (FOR WOMEN)
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam has stated,
“If a woman was to apply perfume to herself, then leave her home and wander past people who were tocatch her fragrance, she would be sinful of adultery and she would also be sinful of adultery for every glance she received”. (Ahmad, Nasai and Al-Haakim:Abu Moosa Al-Ashari)
2.         DON'T LIE WHILE PLAYING WITH CHILDREN
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amir رضياللهﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه:
My mother called me one day when the Apostle of Allah (ﺻﻠﯽاللهﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰﻋﻠﯿﮧﻭﺍٓﻟﮧﻭﺳﻠﻢ) was sitting in our house.
She said, "Come here and I shall give you Something."
Then Allah's Apostle (ﺻﻠﯽاللهﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰﻋﻠﯿﮧﻭﺍٓﻟﮧﻭﺳﻠﻢ) asked her, "What did you intend to give him ?"
She replied, "I intended to give him some Dates."
The Apostle of Allah (ﺻﻠﯽاللهﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰﻋﻠﯿﮧﻭﺍٓﻟﮧﻭﺳﻠﻢ) said, "If you were not to give him anything, a Lie would be recorded against You." [Abu Dawood, Book 41, Hadeeth 4973]
3.         REVIVE A SUNNAH "FASTING ON THE DAY OF 'ARAFAH"
It was narrated from Abu Qataadah (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) that the Messenger of Allaah (SallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Arafah and he (SallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
“It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” [Narrated by Muslim (1162]
Fasting on the day of ‘Arafah is a confirmed Sunnah for those who are not performing Hajj.

4.         WHENEVER A MAN IS ALONE WITH A WOMAN
Hazrat Umar (R.A) related that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
“Not one of you should meet a woman alone unless she is accompanied by a relative (mahram).”
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also reportedly said, “Whenever a man is alone with a woman, Satan is the third among them.” When young people are getting to know each other, being alone together is a temptation toward wrongdoing.
At all times, Muslims should follow the commands of the Qur’an (24:30-31) to “lower their gaze and guard their modesty….”
Islam recognizes that we are human and are given to human weakness, so this rule provides safeguards for our own sake.
5          WHAT ARE THE RIGHTS OF THE WAY (SITTING ON THE ROADS)?
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Beware! Avoid sitting on the roads (ways)."
The people said, "There is no way out of it as these are our sitting places where we have talks."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said , "If you must sit there, then observe the rights of the way."
They asked, "What are the rights of the way?"
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "They are the lowering of your gazes (on seeing what is illegal to look at), refraining from harming people, returning greetings, advocating good and forbidding evil." [Bukhari, Vol 3, B 43, Number 645: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri]
6          ONE OF THE MAJOR SINS IS TO ABUSE YOUR PARENTS
Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar (R.A) Narrates That The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Said;

8.         MAN'S FEET WILL NOT MOVE ON THE DAY of RESURRECTION
Hazrat Abu Barzah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)said,
"Man's feet will not move on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, how did he consume it - His knowledge, what did he do with it - His wealth, how did he earn it and how did he dispose of it, and about his body, how did he wear it out.'' [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2417]

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of Eid-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates.
Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) also narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to eat odd number of dates. [Al-Bukhari Volume 2, Book 15, Number 73]
11.       WHEN A MAN DIES, HIS DEEDS COME TO AN END, EXCEPT FOR THREE

Hazrat Aisha (Ra) said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam): 'O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?' He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  said: 'Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.'
"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee"(Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi).

13.       EVERYTHING HAS A HEART, AND THE Heart of the Quran is Yasin

Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.”  {Sunan at-Tirmidhi, Sunan ad-Darimi}
14.       WHEN IT IS A FRIDAY, THE ANGELS STAND AT THE GATE OF THE MASJID
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the Masjid and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the Masjid in succession according to their arrivals”.
"The example of the one who enters the Masjid in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice).

Once a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, “Oh Prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth.” The man promised to do so and went home.
At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). “If tomorrow the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing.”
So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit.
Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, “What shall I say to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine.”
And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.
In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person.

What will his age be?' The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother."(Bukhari)
